Scottish Premiership 2025/26 – Odds, Rangers fixtures & preview

Rangers will head into the 2025/26 Scottish Premiership season with their sights firmly set on preventing Celtic from claiming a fifth consecutive league title.

They finished 17 points behind the Hoops last term, but could be a good bet to mount a stronger challenge under new manager Russell Martin.

Much like some of the popular games on new casino sites UK, predicting the outcome of the Scottish Premiership title race is generally a coin-flip decision.

Celtic are the favourites with the bookmakers, but their Glasgow rivals will be pulling out all the stops to knock them off their perch this season.

With that in mind, read on as we look at the outright odds and Rangers’ fixtures schedule, before highlighting some of the key games to watch out for.

Scottish Premiership 2025/26 – Preview

Rangers face Motherwell (A), Dundee (H) and St Mirren (A) during the opening month, before their first blockbuster clash against Celtic (H) on August 31.

The two side sides will meet again at Parkhead on January 3, while their final pre-split fixture will be staged at Ibrox on February 28.

December has the potential to be a tricky month for Rangers, with the team scheduled to play six league games.

Martin’s side could also face a key Champions League tie, while the final of the Scottish League Cup may add to their sizeable workload.

Looking further ahead, the pre-split fixtures against Dundee United (H) and Falkirk (A) offer Rangers the chance to carry some momentum into the final few matches.

Martin is undoubtedly a risky appointment for Rangers following his dismissal from Southampton last season, but he will be eager to prove a point in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic have been a class apart in Scotland in recent years, but Rangers have made some shrewd signings this summer and could push them hard.

The outcome of the Glasgow derbies will likely determine which way the title race goes and Martin will be desperate to ensure Rangers are on the right side of the argument.
